8K x 8 Dual-Port RAM
The IDT7005 is a high-speed 8K x 8 Dual-Port Static RAM. TheIDT7005 is designed to be used as a stand-alone 64K-bit Dual-Port RAMor as a combination MASTER/SLAVE Dual-Port RAM for 16-bit-or-moreword systems. Using the IDT MASTER/SLAVE Dual-Port RAM approachin 16-bit or wider memory system applications results in full-speed, errorfreeoperation without the need for additional discrete logic. This device provides two independent ports with separate control,address, and I/O pins that permit independent, asynchronous access forreads or writes to any location in memory. An automatic power downfeature controlled by CE permits the on-chip circuitry of each port to entera very low standby power mode. Fabricated using CMOS high-performance technology, these devicestypically operate on only 750mW of power. Low-power (L) versionsoffer battery backup data retention capability with typical power consumptionof 500µW from a 2V battery. The IDT7005 is packaged in a ceramic 68-pin PGA, 68-pin quadflatpack, 68-pin PLCC and a 64-pin thin quad flatpack, (TQFP). Militarygrade product is manufactured in compliance with the latest revision of MILPRF-38535QML making it ideally suited to military temperature applicationsdemanding the highest level of performance and reliability.
