Description
The 78K0/Kx2-A is an 8-bit microcontroller meeting the demand for higher precision and safety in sensor input components.
- Minimum instruction execution time can be changed from high speed (0.1 µs: @ 20 MHz operation with high-speed system clock) to ultra low-speed (122 µs: @ 32.768 kHz operation with subsystem clock)
- General-purpose register: 8 bits × 32 registers (8 bits × 8 registers × 4 banks)
- On-chip single-power-supply flash memory (with prohibition of chip erase/block erase/writing function)
- Self-programming (with boot swap function)
- On-chip debug function
- On-chip power-on-clear (POC) circuit and low-voltage detector (LVI)
- On-chip watchdog timer (operable with the on-chip internal low-speed oscillation clock)
- On-chip multiplier/divider (16 bits × 16 bits, 32 bits/16 bits)
- On-chip key interrupt function: 6 channels (78K0/KC2-A (48 pins) only)
- On-chip clock output controller (78K0/KC2-A (48 pins) only)
- I/O ports
- 78K0/KB2-A: 22 (N-ch open drain: 2)
- 78K0/KC2-A (36 pins): 28 (N-ch open drain: 2)
- 78K0/KC2-A (48 pins): 40 (N-ch open drain: 2
- On-chip 12-bit resolution A/D converter
- 78K0/KB2-A: 10 channels
- 78K0/KC2-A: 12 channels
- Amplifier: 3 channels
