The Intersil ISL84715 devices is lowON-resistance, low voltage, bidirectional, single pole/singlethrow (SPST) analog switches designed to operate from asingle +1.65V to +3.6V supply. Targeted applications includebattery powered equipment that benefit from low RONresistance, excellent RON flatness, and fast switching speeds(tON = 9ns, tOFF = 5ns). The digital logic input is 1.8V CMOScompatible when using a single +3V supply. Cell phones, for example, often face ASIC functionalitylimitations. The number of analog input or GPIO pins may belimited and digital geometries are not well suited to analogswitch performance. This family of parts may be used toswitch in additional functionality while reducing ASIC designrisk. The ISL8471X are offered in a 5 lead SC70 package,alleviating board space limitations. The ISL84716 has one normally closed (NC) switch.
