ADPCM Voice Compression G.726 3.3V 28-Pin SOIC T/R

The Quad ADPCM Transcoder is a low power, CMOSdevice capable of four encode and four decodefunctions per frame. Four 64 kbps PCM octets arecompressed into four 32, 24 or 16 kbps ADPCM words,and four 32, 24 or 16 kbps ADPCM words areexpanded into four 64 kbps PCM octets. The 32, 24and 16 kbps ADPCM transcoding algorithms utilizedconform to ITU-T Recommendation G.726 (excluding40 kbps), and ANSI T1.303 - 1989.
