The CS5101 is a bipolar monolithicsecondary side post regulator(SSPR) which provides tight regulationof multiple output voltages inAC-DC or DC-DC converters.Leading edge pulse width modulationis used with the CS5101.The CS5101 is designed to operateover an 8V to 45V supply voltage(VCC) range and up to a 75V drivevoltage (VC).The CS5101 features include a totempole output with 1.5A peak outputcurrent capability, externally programmableovercurrent protection,an on chip 2% precision 5V reference,internally compensated erroramplifier, externally synchronizedswitching frequency, and a powerswitch drain voltage monitor. It isavailable in a 14 lead plastic DIP ora 16 lead wide body SO package.
