The XC886CM enhances the XC800 family of 8-bit µCs with a new member providing advanced networking capabilities by integrating both a CAN controller (V2.0B active) and LIN support on a single chip. THE ON – CHIP CAN module reduces the CPU load by performing most of the functions required by the networking protocol (masking, filtering and buffering of CAN frames).
